Customer Personal Data Processing Information Text
This information text has been prepared to inform you about the purposes for which your personal data that you share with us within the scope of the services we provide through the Remote Tech Work Platform ("Platform") will be processed.
Your personal data; can be processed by RTW Bilişim ve Danışmanlık Anonim Şirketi ("RTW") within the scope described below, in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("Law").
Purpose and Legal Reason for Processing Personal Data
Your collected personal data will be processed within the framework of the personal data processing conditions and purposes specified in Article 5 of the Law for the purposes given below ("Purposes").
Based on the legal reason of the necessity of processing personal data belonging to the parties of a contract directly related to the establishment or performance of the contract;
• Execution of our sales activities related to the services we offer through or in relation to the Platform, sharing of information you request before or during the contract process, and organization of meetings, discussions, and communication within this scope,
• Execution of contract processes between RTW and you or the company for which you work/are authorized/own,
• Fulfillment of all obligations arising from the business relationship between RTW and you or the company for which you work/are authorized/own, and communication with you within this scope,
Based on the legal reason of explicit provision in laws and the necessity for the data controller to fulfill its legal obligations;
• Compliance with requests from official institutions,
• Providing information to authorized organizations as required by regulations,
• Ensuring compliance with statutory retention obligations,
• Responding to data subject applications in accordance with the law and carrying out necessary procedures,
Based on the legal reason of the necessity of processing data for the establishment, use, or protection of a right;
• Retaining personal data for the general statute of limitations for the purpose of serving as evidence in potential future disputes,
• Receiving, evaluating, and resolving your requests and complaints,
Based on the legal reason of the necessity of processing data for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that it does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject;
• Management of the Platform, services within the scope of the Platform, and communications,
• Planning and execution of operational activities required to ensure that Platform activities are conducted in accordance with RTW's internal procedures, policies, and relevant legislation,
• Planning by our business units and execution of related business processes needed to benefit you from the services offered through the Platform,
• Evaluation of potential collaboration processes that we might carry out with you,
• Ensuring the security of the Platform and its services,
• Planning or execution of customer relationship management processes,
• Conducting financial and accounting matters,
• Tracking and managing legal affairs,
• Conducting audit and ethical activities.
In the presence of your explicit consent;
• Processing of your identity, contact, and other personal data shared during registration to the Platform for the purpose of executing marketing processes for Platform services, including profiling and analysis activities, and offering services tailored to your needs and preparing appropriate offers accordingly,
• Processing your identity and contact data for the purpose of sending advertisements, promotions, campaigns, industry reports, and other commercial electronic messages to the contact information you have shared with us.
Who Your Processed Personal Data May Be Transferred To and For What Purposes
Your collected personal data, within the framework of the above-mentioned Purposes and within the scope of our legitimate interests, may be transferred to our suppliers and business partners; to legally authorized public institutions and legally authorized private individuals for fulfilling our legal obligations as explicitly prescribed in the laws; and, with your explicit consent;
• Your identity, contact, and other personal data shared in messages sent through the Platform to HubSpot Inc., the service provider of the HubSpot platform used for conducting our communication activities with you and located abroad,
• Your identity, contact, and other personal data shared during registration or use of the Platform to Microsoft Corporation, Amazon Web Services, Inc. and Slack Technologies Limited, the providers of hosting and communication products used for managing the Platform, its services, and communications, and located abroad.
• We partner with Microsoft Clarity and Microsoft Advertising to capture how you use and interact with our website through behavioral metrics, heatmaps, and session replay to improve and market our products/services. Website usage data is captured using first and third-party cookies and other tracking technologies to determine the popularity of products/services and online activity. Additionally, we use this information for site optimization, fraud/security purposes, and advertising. The data will be transferred in accordance with the rules related to the transfer of personal data as specified in Articles 8 and 9 of the Law, within the scope of data processing conditions regulated in Article 5 of the Law.
Method of Collecting Personal Data
Your personal data is collected in electronic environments through the websites https://remotetech.work and https://enterprise.remotetech.work online forms, phone conversations, and email channels. In physical environments, it is collected during face-to-face meetings and visits, all for the purpose of fulfilling the aforementioned Objectives.
Rights of the Data Subject Under Article 11 of the Law
We inform you that, in accordance with Article 11 of the Law, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
• To find out whether your personal data has been processed,
• If your personal data has been processed, to request information about it,
• To learn the purpose of processing your personal data and whether it is being used in accordance with this purpose,
• To know the third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred, both within the country and abroad,
• To request the correction of your personal data if it has been incompletely or inaccurately processed,
• To request the deletion or destruction of your personal data within the framework of the conditions set forth in the relevant legislation,
• To request the notification of correction, deletion, or destruction actions taken to the third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred,
• To object to the emergence of a result against you through the exclusive automated analysis of your processed personal data,
• To request compensation for the damages incurred due to the unlawful processing of your personal data.
In the event that you submit your requests related to the above-mentioned rights by filling out the Data Subject Application Form, which you can access at Application Form for the Data Subject , RTW will conclude the request free of charge as soon as possible and at the latest within thirty days, depending on the nature of the request. However, if the procedure requires additional costs, a fee will be charged by RTW according to the tariff determined by the Personal Data Protection Board.
